Nice quick summary Bill. Folks can learn how the Fathead is similar to other ribbon mics, and also learn about the other basic Chinese ribbon motors in an article called "Chinese Ribbon Microphone Buyer's Guide":http://recordinghacks.com/2008/11/01/chinese-ribbon-microphone-designs/

I've had numerous inquiries about copying this book. First, it's not legal. Second, the cost and time it would take to put it together would be in the neighborhood of $150, counting copies, binder, a few hours of time, and shipping. It's about 270 pages and single sided that's as thick as 540! This is the reason I decided to let folks know they can get a hold of a copy from the local library in their area. I appreciate all the inquiries.

I am Aeron obesessed! Anyone who hasn't sat in one is missing out. I traded my old chair in for one a couple of months ago through PreOwnedAerons.com and found a used one REALLY cheap! I got all the help I needed from a product specialist from there to get adjusted to my size. The chair is literally new, I don't think the previous owner even sat it. It's beautiful, though, and it definitely makes my work day more comfortable.
